SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE: DLA Aviation Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to manufacture the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit for the procurement of: NSN 01-186-8815, P/N 406-075-802-103, INVERTER,POWER,STAT, and the AH-1Z Cobra Helicopter the item is used on or supports. (If procuring multiple items, see attached listing). The Government does not possess the data necessary to perform the required manufacture of the item. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may express their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 5 days after the date of publication of this Sources Sought Notice may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Only approved sources will be solicited, and source approval may be required. DLA Aviation Philadelphia will not delay award while source approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
