FAIRING,AIRCRAFT
This DLA Aviation requirement is for 3 each of newly manufactured spare parts that are FAA-certified and accompanied by an FAA Authorized Release Certificate (Form 8130-3); refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired items are unacceptable. Only Government-approved sources may be considered, and distributors/dealers must provide an authorized distributor letter on the manufacturer’s letterhead with their offer. Drawings are not available, and the requirement is subject to Critical Safety Item and source inspection/acceptance provisions as applicable, with AS/EN/JISQ 9100 or equivalent quality requirements and a 12-month warranty (45 days after discovery of defect). The items are non-CLSSA FMS spares for a foreign military customer, so the IUID clause is deleted and delivery is to a domestic U.S. freight forwarder rather than the DoD supply chain. The solicitation also incorporates DoD class deviations that delete or revise specified EEO and sustainability clauses.
