All potential offers shall provide newly manufactured spares only. Refurbished, remanufactured, or repaired material will not be acceptable; Offers for such are ineligible for award. Offerors are advised that offers received from sources which are not government-approved sources of supply will be deemed technicallyunacceptable, and therefore ineligible for award. Anydistributors of approved source(s) MUST submit a copyof their authorized distributor letter, on the source's letterhead, to the buyer point of contact indicated onthe solicitation via email, at time of proposal submittal. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to purchase this part from other than thecurrent source(s). The subject item requires Government sourceapproval prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequateto support acquisition via full and open competition. Only thesource(s) previously approved by the Government for this itemhave been solicited. The time required for approval of a newsource is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pendingapproval of a new source.
