This is a proposed sole-source contract for seven parts to be delivered to a naval facility in Williamsburg, VA. The Government intends to negotiate only with the approved source, Flowserve US Inc., because it lacks the technical data rights to purchase or repair the part from others and reverse engineering is deemed uneconomical. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal competitive request, the Government will consider proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication. Interested parties may also identify their capability to provide a commercial alternative within 15 days of this notice.
