The contractor is responsible for inspection, must retain inspection records for 365 calendar days after final delivery, and must comply with MIL-STD-130 marking and MIL-STD 2073 packaging requirements. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer will be considered, and proof of authorization must be submitted with the offer. Changes in design, material, servicing, or part number require Contracting Officer approval, except for Code 1 part-number-only changes. Production facility changes are prohibited unless approved, and any request must include a $250.00 price reduction to cover administrative costs.
