This procurement is for the manufacture of a HEX RECT ASSY under an emergency acquisition authority, with award based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria. It requires a higher-level contract quality system in accordance with MIL-I-45208 (or ISO 9001/9002), plus inspection and acceptance at source. Only authorized distributors of the original equipment manufacturer may be considered, and refurbished material is not acceptable. The item must be free of metallic mercury contamination, and the contractor must comply with CMMC Level 1 (Self) cybersecurity requirements. Payment will be processed through the Wide Area Workflow system.
