Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This is a proposed sole-source contract for 65 units of a specific part, with delivery to distribution centers in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania and Tracy, California. The Government intends to negotiate only with the approved source, Teledyne Instruments, Inc., because it does not own the data rights to procure or repair the part from others. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal competitive request, the Government will consider any proposals or capability statements received within 45 days of the synopsis publication for the purpose of potentially deciding to conduct a competitive procurement.
