This is a contract for the manufacture of an electronic component for the U.S. Navy, with strict quality and material requirements, including a prohibition on mercury. The award will be made using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria. Performance of the work is prohibited at any location other than that named in the contract without specific written approval from the Contracting Officer, and such requests require a supporting price reduction of $250.00. Offerors must provide quantity price breaks with their quote and, if not the manufacturer, must identify the OEM and its CAGE code. Inspection of the material will be at a CAGE code and address to be provided, and final acceptance will be at a separate CAGE code and address.
