This is a contract for the manufacture of a valve assembly, including strict quality requirements, for use on U.S. Navy submarines and surface ships. The item must be manufactured to a specific design referenced by a Cage Code and must contain no metallic mercury or mercury contamination. The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements and must maintain those records for 365 days after final delivery. Only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item will be considered for award, and they must provide proof of authorization with their offer.
