(Sources Sought Notice) This is a sources sought notice to inform potential vendors that DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg is preparing to solicit for a long term indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.5, for a period of 5 years (three (3) base years and two (2) option year periods) for two items needed to support Navy requirements. The items that will be solicited for the LTC are as follows: NSN: 5805 015025665 Name: Telephone Set Part Number: 90-209-1 The telephone sets are used on VACL submarines for internal communications thoughout the ship during normal operations. NSN: 5805 015560533 Name: Telephone Keypad Part Number: 90-209-2M The telephone keypad also used on VACL submarines at the Diesel Generator Control Panel during emergency ventilating/snorkeling operations. Qualified source(s): The current supplier(s) of these items is L-3 Technologies, Cage Code 28199. However, if you are interested in becoming a supplier of these items and have the data and drawings to manufacture them or can provide alternate items with the same capabilities please contact ronald.matthews@dla.mil to request a market survey and sources approval request (SAR). Already approved sources need not submit a market survey - approved sources and any other sources (be it manufacturers or distributors) that send a request for it will be sent the solicitation as soon as it's available.
