This pre-soliciation notice is being issued to advise that DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg intends to solicit for a firm fixed price 5 year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for the following item: NSN: TBD MEGOHMETER IAW PURCHASE DESCRIPTION SCAT: 4449/1449 (ATTACHED) ESTIMATED YEARLY QUANTITY: 20 EACH AMC CODE 2G The requirement will be solicited as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE The government's intent is to issue a firm fixed price long term indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for a period of 3 base years and 2 one yer option periods. Once the solicitation is released, all interested parties will be required to submit a technical proposal demonstrating how your item meets each part of the specification (PURCHASE DESCRIPTION 4449/1449, attached) and those that are approved by Naval Research Laboratories (NRL) will then be required to submit bid samples for testing by NRL as well. Pricing will then be requested from each source that receives approval of both their technical proposals and bid samples.
