DLA Weapons Support–Mechanicsburg is considering a five-year IDIQ contract for a generator (NSN 7050 016775004, PN 33521BN) acquired directly from the manufacturer. The Government does not own the data or rights needed to purchase from additional sources and has determined buying the data or reverse engineering is uneconomical. The resulting solicitation and contract are anticipated to incorporate DLAD Procurement Note L27 for addition/deletion of items. The Government estimates a potential total contract ceiling of up to $8,000,000 over five years.
