DLA Land & Maritime - Mechanicsburg intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis (under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as supplemented by FAR 6.302-1) a firm-fixed price long term contract for the acquisition of Rotary Pumps, NSN 4320-01-217-5725, part number 65153, manufactured by Parker Hannifin Corporation (CAGE 59211). However, responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Anticipated Contract Structure: A Three-Year Base Ordering plus two One-Year Option Requirements Contract (see FAR 16.503). Estimated Yearly Quantity: 5 Each/Year There are no drawings/technical data available. The Government does not possess the Technical Data Package (TDP) or the rights to the TDP. The TDP is proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). It has been determined to be uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. The OEM is the only known manufacturing source for this material. The AMC/AMSC for this material is 3R. For a breakout of AMC/AMSC coding, please review DFARS PGI 217.75 Part 2-201.1 and 2-201.2. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in its solicitation for describing supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Solicitation SPRMM1-20-R-YF37 will be released on or about September 30, 2020 and will remain open for 30 days on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation will not be set aside for small businesses. The release date of the solicitation is an estimate. The closing date of the solicitation will be adjusted based upon the release date of the solicitation, but will not close prior to it being open for 30 days. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency.
