This is a synopsis notice to inform potential vendors that DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg is preparing to solicit for a long term requirements contract in accordance with FAR 16.503, for a period of five (5) years to include one (1) year base year and four (4) option year periods for the items listed in the attachment. The items in this LTC are all part of the SPS-77 Sea Giraffe Radar system for naval applications. It is a family of land and naval two-or three dimensional G/H band (4 to 8 Ghz) passive electronically scanned array radar-based surveillance and air defense command and control systems tailored for operations with medium-and short range air defense missile or gun systems or for use as gap-fillers in a larger air defense system.Qualified source: The current supplier(s) of these items is SAAB Defense and Security USA LLC, Cage Code 1EG52. However, if you are interested in becoming a supplier of these items and have the data and drawings to manufacture them or can provide alternate items with the same capabilities please contact ronald.matthews@dla.mil to request a market survey and sources approval request (SAR). Already approved sources need not submit a market survey - approved sources will be sent the solicitation as soon as it's available. Note: There are 118 parts on the attached list.
