DLA Aviation is conducting a sources sought/RFIC for a potential long-term contract to remanufacture carbon heatsink assemblies for F-16, F-15, C-130, and C-5 aircraft. The government does not have complete technical data packages and identifies Collins Aerospace as the original equipment manufacturer. Interested sources should be capable of remanufacturing these parts, managing the supply chain, and improving material availability for the warfighter. The RFIC also seeks industry input on risks, qualifications, facilities, quality control, and transition timelines. This is for market research only; no contract award will result from this notice.
