The Stators provide electrical power to the M88 platform and are the permanent magnet which is used to produce electrical power. The Stator produces 28-volts, 650-amps, is oil cooled, brushless, and provides direct current (DC). Stator, Engine Generators use filtered oil from the engine main gallery line for cooling and are completely enclosed; giving it the ability to function properly even if completely submerged in water.
