This Sources Sought Notice seeks interest for a Winch, Drum, Vehicle (NSN 2590-01-592-5927, Part No. 51882-004) used on the Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET). The contemplated quantities are a base of 16 EA with an option for up to 16 EA. The Government does not have rights to the Technical Data Package or specifications, and the winch supports HET self-recovery, moving other vehicles, and recovery assistance via a motor-driven drum that winds or unwinds cable. This is not an open solicitation; qualification testing and evaluation are required to become an approved source, approval does not guarantee business, and qualification only provides the opportunity to compete on future solicitations.
