This is a pre-solicitation for a firm fixed-price contract to supply new diesel engines, with a one-year option for up to 100% additional quantity. The base quantity is 19 engines, with an option for up to 19 more. Access to the technical data for this procurement requires prior certification under the U.S./Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP). The solicitation will include a provision allowing for a potential reverse auction after closing, for which separate registration and training are required. The government prefers new material but will evaluate offers for other conditions.
