ITEM NAME: Diesel Engine with Container NSN: 2815-01-569-9922 MILITARY PART NUMBER: 57K6820 QUANTITY: Minimum - 4; Maximum - 100 (5-Year long term contract) END ITEM: Palletized Loading System (PLS); M1074A1 & M1075A1 DESCRIPTION: The dressed diesel engine with container is defined by the Government-owned Tank and Automotive Command (TACOM) Drawing Number 57K6820, which is a parts list consisting of two items: the dressed diesel engine (Oshkosh Defense LLC, CAGE: 75Q65, P/N 3806142) and the shipping container (Champion Company, CAGE: 94231, P/N 0-20185). The diesel engine represents more than 50% of the total cost of the kit. The Government-owned drawing does not fully define the diesel engine other than providing the contractor part number. This notice is not an open solicitation (i.e., an invitation for bid or a request for proposal). The Government does not have technical data for this item. Qualification testing and evaluation is required to become an approved source.
