This brake serves as a failsafe for the Elevation Mechanism Motor. Its Static Break Torque is 27.3 N-MIN with a Maximum Speed of 3200 RPM. The Brake Operating Speed is: 16 VDC to 28 VDC. The Brake is capable of rotation in either direction. The Brake is capable of operation +/- 15 degrees from Horizontal. Release time is less than or equal to 150 milliseconds throughout the entire operating voltage range. The Government does not possess the Technical Data Package (TDP), detailed drawings and performance specifications for this item.
