Sources Sought Notice: SPRDL1-20-R-0302 Item Name: Cylinder Block, Tran ( Flat Matched Cylinder Block Assembly) NSN: 3110011391801 Part Number: 11629919 Quantity: 99 Option Quantity: 99 End Item: M2, M3, M7, M113, MLRS Response Date: 10 October 2020 Requirements Description: The Flat Matched Cylinder Block Assembly is a critical component of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS) Engine HMPT-500/800 Hydro-Mechanical Transmission System. The design of this hardware is unique in that it is packaged to specifically fit the HMPT-500/800 transmissions. The Government does not have drawings for this item that are suitable for competitive procurement. The TDP is fully defined, but the government does not have full data rights. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10, Market Research. The purpose of this survey is to canvas the industry for any possible other sources. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market research is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in responding or in any subsequent exchange of information. Contractors interested in becoming a source of supply need to meet the requirements of the Source Approval Program including vehicle level qualification testing, at their own expense.
