ITEM: DIESEL ENGINE ASSEMBLY W/CONTAINER NSN: 2815-01-461-7078 MILITARY (19207) PART NO: 57K3566, WITH MAJOR COMPONENT RESTRICTED TO AM GENERAL, LLC (34623), OR GENERAL ENGINE PRODUCTS, LLC (1RGD4) P/N 12469444, REV G) INSPECTION/ACCEPTANCE: ORIGIN/ORIGIN FOB: ORIGIN PACKAGING: MILITARY/A MAXIMUM QUANTITY: 1,620 EACH KIND OF CONTRACT: FIRM FIXED PRICE The solicitation will post on/about 6 March 2020, with offers due on/about 15 April 2020 (see solicitation for actual offer due date). Offerors are encouraged to check the beta.sam.gov website on a regular basis for any updates to the solicitation. The solicitation contains a provision entitled 'Reverse Auction,' which allows for the use of reverse auction as a pricing technique. After the solicitation closes, the contracting officer will determine if a reverse auction will be held. If a reverse auction is held, contractors must be registered in the reverse auction system in order to participate in the auction. Additionally, the contractor representative participating in the auction must have taken the on-line reverse auction training prior to the auction.
