DLA Land Warren intends to solicit under Request for Proposal (RFP) SPRDL1-20-R-0064 for the following: Engine, Diesel with Container, Shipping & Storage; NSN: 2815-01-414-6821, P/N: 12366412; Packaging: Mil/A; Inspection/Acceptance: Origin; FOB: Origin. This item is source controlled to L3 Technologies Inc. Combat Propulsion Systems (CAGE 02978) or BAE Systems Ground Systems Division (CAGE 06085). The complete engine technical data package (TDP) is proprietary to L3 Technologies Inc., Combat Propulsion Systems (CAGE 02978) the design of which is based on the engine performance specification RVX00970 owned by the USG. Offerors must meet the requirements of the USG-owned RVX00970 specification. The resulting contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis with a base year quantity of 168 EA and Option quantity of 34 EA. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released to the beta.SAM website on or around 1 May 2020. The proposal due date will be on or around 17 July 2020 (see the RFP for the actual due date once released).
