The intent of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to synopsize a contractual change to Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017, which is an established sole-source contract with Raytheon. SPRBL1-15-D-0017 is a ten (10) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract providing for the support of sole-source Raytheon requirements to include spare parts, repairs, engineering services, maintenance, training, kits, and performance-based logistics. The contract was awarded on 28 September 2015. The period of performance includes a six (6) year base period followed by one (1), four (4) year re-determinable option period. The contract maximum ceiling is $8B. Market research suggests that the Raytheon-Owned CAGE is the sole approved source capable of providing the required items in support of the AN/ARN 147 (V) VOR/ILS/GS/MB Radio Receiving Set, AN/ARN-149 (V) LF-ADF, and AN/ARN-153 (V) Advanced Digital TACAN navigation systems. This synopsis details the intent of the Government to release a modification to Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017, which will add-on the below sole-source spare parts in support of the AN/ARN 147 (V) VOR/ILS/GS/MB Radio Receiving Set, AN/ARN-149 (V) LF-ADF, and AN/ARN-153 (V) Advanced Digital TACAN navigation systems (CAGE Code 05716, Performing CAGE Code 13499).
