This is a Sources Sought Announcement (SSA), which should not be construed as a solicitation announcement, invitation for bids, request for quotations, or a request for proposals. It is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government to acquire any products or services, nor does the Government intend to award a contract on the basis of this SSA or otherwise pay for the information received. Those responding will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs incurred in developing a response to this SSA. Furthermore, this request does not constitute the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. All responses will be treated as Market Research. In accordance with FAR Part 10, this SSA is market research to identify sources of supply for a five (5) years, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinitely-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the following part: NSN: 6120-01-508-1787, Part Number: 005035003 or DLM 32-95EM27, 28VDC Power Supply for AN/ASM-146 Shelter. The power supply shall have an Electronic Industries Association (EIA) rack unit size 2U (3½” high, 19” wide) chassis. It shall be capable of using Cable Assembly A3283929 REV C as an input power cable for 208VAC. The baseline is a 3kW model with output of 0-32 VDC, 0-95 ADC, with a meter accuracy of 0.3V and 0.8A. The power supply should be able to operate in 0 to 50? and 20 to 80% RH at 7500ft above sea level. The current approved sources of supply are Ametek Programmable Power, INC and TDK-Lambda Americas INC. Vendors (manufacturer or distributor) with a product that is capable of meeting the specifications of the current approved models listed above, will be required to submit their product for qualification testing. The Technical Requirements Document (draft) for this part is enclosed as an attachment. Interested sources that are capable of furnishing this item must send a response outlining the ability to meet the Government’s requirement. Respondents to this notice must provide enough information to demonstrate their capabilities to provide this item for the full term of the contract as specified above.
