DLA Land at Aberdeen issues a Request for Proposal (RFP) on June 26, 2023, for a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract, with a proposed maximum contract value of $8,000,000.00. This will be conducted using Special Emergency Procurement Authority (SEPA). The proposed action is for the acquisition of MPM-3000 Satellite Modem, NSN: 5895-01-706-4392, which is used to support the Warfighter Information Network - Tactical Increment 2 (WIN-T INC 2) system. The MPM-3000 hosts the Network Centric (NCW) and Network Centric Waveform-Resilient Waveform (NCW-R), the standard wideband SATCOM waveform for tactical military operations. The MPM-3000 modem provides a fully automated network which requires no operator intervention to maintain connectivity. It enables full use of the advanced capabilities of the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) multi-beam, multi-band satellite. The MPM-3000 is a drop-in replacement for the RMPM-1000 modem. The estimated annual quantity required by the Government is 16 per year. Note: The estimated annual quantity is for planning purposes only. Actual ordered quantities may be more or less than the estimated annual quantity. ********* The anticipated hardware ship to location will be W25G1U, New Cumberland, PA. The Government required delivery will be listed in the solicitation. Based on market research, this is a commercial item based on the definition of a commercial item as listed in FAR 2.101. FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 will apply to this acquisition. This acquisition will not be set aside for a small business.
