This soliciatation is for a one-time procurement of the following two items ("NSNs") in support of the AN/VRC-100(V)1 Advanced high frequency (HF) Ground/Vehicular Communications System: NSN 5998-01-442-2938, ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS ASSEMBLY, QTY 69 ea NSN 5998-01-435-2306, ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS ASSEMBLY, QTY 55 ea The Government does NOT own the Technical Data Package (TDP) for these NSNs. These NSNs have an AMC/AMSC of "3D", indicating they must be acquired "directly from the actual manufacturer", and that "the data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available...[and] cannot be obtained economically." Rockwell Collins, CAGE 13499, is the OEM for these NSNs. The procurement of these NSNs shall be accomplished using the procedures described in FAR Subpart 13.5, "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services". The procurement will be Sole Source. Offerers will need to have a current profile at the System for Award Management (SAM), https://www.sam.gov in order to submit responses to the solicitation.
