The AN/VAS-5A and AN/VAS-5B are uncooled thermal imaging systems developed for the use of drivers operating a multitude of Combat Vehicles (CV) and Tactical Wheeled Vehicles (TWV). Can you explain the 2000 series of lines for “Surge Delivery”? What exactly does that mean? Offeror cannot provide FFP for the production/Option years. Offeror can provide ROM pricing for those lines. Is this acceptable to the Government? The AN/VAS-5A and AN/VAS-5B are uncooled thermal imaging systems developed for the use of drivers operating a multitude of Combat Vehicles (CV) and Tactical Wheeled Vehicles (TWV). The NAICS code is 334511. The proposed contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one five-year base period and one five-year option period. FAR Part 15 will apply to this acquisition. The RFP will be unrestricted and will not be set aside for small business.
