CONTRACT TYPE: This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 procedures for the purchase of the following commercial item: NOMENCLATURE: (HF) Full Loop Antenna NSN: 5985-01-590-8364 PART NUMBER: RF-3134-AT003 MANUFACTUER: L3Harris, CAGE 14304 2 . PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The performance period for any resultant contract will consist of one (1) five-year base period and no option periods. 3 . GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: The solicitation package includes the RFP and Attachment 0001 - Technical Requirements. 4 . APPROVED SOURCE/PART: The approved source for this part-numbered item L3Harris, CAGE 14304. In order to be eligible for award under this solicitation, offerors must be able to provide the approved part number. In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notice that DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about June 12, 2020 for a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with one 5-year base period and no option periods with an estimated contract value of $12,312,938.75 and a maximum contract value of $20M. The anticipated award date is September 2020. This proposed action is for the following spare component: Nomenclature: High Frequency (HF) Full Loop Antenna; NSN: 5985-01-590-8364; Part Number: RF-3134-AT003. The HF Full Loop Antenna is in support of the AN/PRC-150 (C) Radio system. The item is an On-The-Move (OTM) Vehicular Loop Antenna designed for Near Vertical Incident Skyway (NVIS) HF communications. This high "Q" antenna provides required bandwidth with excellent efficiency with limited groundwave capabilities to maintain Line-Of-Sight links. The RF-3134 interfaces to the Falcon® II Series of HF radios including the RF-5800H and AN/PRC-150(C) when used with 125W and 150W amplifiers. The Vehicular Loop Antenna is fully compatible with Fixed- Frequency, MIL-STD-188-1418 ALE, 2G and 3G ALE/data modes, when used with the RF-382A and RF-5382 HF couplers. The NAICS code for the NSN is 334220, Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing. This procurement is not subject to a small business set-aside.
