The intent of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to synopsize contractual changes to Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017, which is an established sole-source contract with Raytheon Company. SPRBL1-15-D-0017 is currently a nine (9) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract in support of Depot Level Repairable (DLR) and consumable spare parts as well as repair and engineering services provided by Raytheon that are associated with sole-source Raytheon manufactured system components. The contract was awarded on 28 September 2015. The period of performance currently includes a six (6) year base period followed by one (1), three (3) year re-determinable option period. The contract maximum ceiling is currently $2B. This synopsis details the intent of the Government to issue a modification to Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017, which will increase the contract ceiling from $2B to $8B in order to cover additional program requirements. The modification will also extend the period of performance by one (1) year from a nine (9) year period of performance to a ten (10) year period of performance ending on September 26, 2025, and will add additional sole-source system coverage to the scope of the contract as stated in the attached document. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, our market research suggests that Raytheon is the sole approved source capable of providing the required product and services.
