This notice is being issued to determine interested vendors and to help establish an appropriate set-aside if applicable. Please note that this is NOT a Request For Quotation (RFQ) and submission of your company’s interest may not result in your company being considered for a set-aside or bidders list for the RFQ. This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only. Vendors that are able to provide this material need to provide the following in an e-mail to Emily.Kritzman@dla.mil. RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE: 1. Vendor’s name, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. 2. Vendor’s Cage Code (SAM). 3. Vendor’s size status (SB, SDVOSB, 8a, HUBZone, WOSB, etc.,). 4. If the vendor is not the actual manufacturer, the actual manufacturer’s name, Cage Code, and size status is required. 5. Statement explaining capabilities, including, but not limited to, specific Model Numbers, with detailed literature and manufacturers specifications. Information provided in response to this notice must include sufficient technical information for an evaluation to be conducted, to determine if a source is capable. Responses that do not include technical information may be determined unresponsive and/or not capable. *** The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard interested in issuing a 5-year IDIQ contract, and is seeking sources capable of providing the following: SCOPE 1. This requirement is for a five (5) year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) Contract, to consist of one (1) base year, with four (4) option years. 2. The Period of Performance (POP) is ONE YEAR from the date of award, with FOUR OPTION YEARS. For estimating purposes only, the POP is currently estimated to begin in July or August. 3. The IDIQ material is as follows: Item 0001: Ventilation Ducting, TR-FR 4" BLACK/BLUE, or equal, in accordance with (iaw) the Specifications. Item 0002: Ventilation Ducting, TR-FR 4" BLACK/ORANGE, or equal, iaw the Specifications. Item 0003: Ventilation Ducting, TR-FR 4" BLACK/GREEN, or equal, iaw the Specifications. Item 0004: Ventilation Ducting, TR-FR 6" BLACK/BLUE, or equal, iaw the Specifications. Item 0005: Ventilation Ducting, TR-FR 8" BLACK/BLUE, or equal, iaw the Specifications. Item 0006: Ventilation Ducting, TR-FR 8" BLACK/GREEN, or equal, iaw the Specifications. Item 0007: Ventilation Ducting, R-3 BLUE 14", or equal, iaw the Specifications. If there is a minimum order quantity for any material, please provide that information in your response. *** This requirement may be evaluated for multiple award. *** Vendors who would not be providing ducting from one of the sources identified on the Approved Vendors List, below, would be required (NOT AT THIS TIME) to submit a 1’ sample at no cost to the Government of each type of ducting to show that their product meets the specifications. Samples will not be returned after testing.
