Offerors must have a current NIST SP 800-171 assessment under DFARS 252.204-7019, not more than three years old unless a shorter period is specified, unless the items are Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), which are exempt. COTS status must be identified and provided to the contracting officer. A signed and completed solicitation must be submitted via email or fax to be considered responsive, with applicable boxes in clause 52.204-24 (2)(d)(1) and (2) checked.
