The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Norfolk Naval Shipyard is issuing this sources sought and request for information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for an Abrasive Water Jet Cutting Machine, more specifically the OMAX 5555. A complete list of part numbers, characteristics and requirement quantity is included with this posting. OMAX Corporation is the OEM of the identified water jet machine. To the best of the Government’s knowledge, OMAX is the only known approved material source of supply at this time. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333991, Power Driven Hand Tool Manufacturing.
