The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), DLA Maritime Norfolk, Contracting Division, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price, requirement to procure TIMKEN GEARS & SERVICES OF PHILADELPHIA GEAR, 100 Anchor Mill Road New Castle, DE 19720 302-229-3760 RTD CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY to be delivered to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. In addition, TIMKEN GEARS & SERVICES CAGE Code 0YAS7, is the only acceptable manufacturer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335931 and the procurement will be sourced together. Award will be made on the basis of lowest-price, technically acceptable. The contract line items are as follows: CLIN 0001: RTD CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY P/N 4029G62, QTY 1 EA This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation number is SPMYM1-21-Q-0113 and it is expected to be posted on or around 13 August 2021. Quotes will be due by 12:00 PM EST on 18 August 2021 and may be emailed to the attention of Ginger Beasley (ginger.beasely@dla.mil). Vendors must answer all evaluation factors for their bids to be considered viable.
