The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Norfolk, Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is issuing this sources sought and request for information as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for a quantity of one (1) each, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Lathe, new slant bed-type turning center with Hurco WINMAX control, p/n TMM12i. Designed conversationally controlled turning center with ancillary support to include options, initial installation & training. The machine shall be able to be programed by use of conversational or NC/G code programming. A sole source to the manufacture Hurco Machine and their distributor/dealer. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333517 (Machine Tool Manufacturing). This acquisition is unrestricted. Delivery date of approximately 90 days after award of contract to NNSY, Bldg. 276, Portsmouth, VA 23709.
