DLA Troop Support intends to solicit a five-year long-term contract to procure 38 configurations of ISO shipping containers. The containers to be procured include 20-foot, 40-foot, bicon, tricon, and quadcon shipping containers. This contract will be a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract and will incorporate economic price adjustments. The acquisition will be a partial set aside, with 35 of 38 CLINs set aside for small business. One or more of the items under the non-set aside portion of this acquisition are subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. DLA will request that offerors submit FOB origin, firm-fixed ceiling prices for any or all 38 CLINs to be solicited. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration by DLA. DLA will conduct post-award competition of delivery orders. Post-award FOB, Inspection & Acceptance, and delivery requirements for delivery orders may vary. For delivery order requirements solicited as FOB destination under this contract, offerors will be asked to quote a container price and a transportation price as separate line items. A copy of the solicitation will be made available via DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. A solicitation will not be emailed to interested parties. All interested parties must access and respond to this solicitation via DIBBS. NOTE: This is a presolicitation notice only, not a formal request for proposals.
