THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to procure Brand Name or Equal to P/N: SB9140.425, 40FT Intermodal Warehouse Systems. This is not a Request for Proposal for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support is seeking to identify possible sources that can manufacture the items listed below. Drawings are not available. Interested contractors will be required to submit a complete technical data package, which will be forwarded to the Engineering Support Activity for review. This notice serves to survey the market to ascertain whether-or-not sources are capable of providing the requested supply. This notice allows potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capability. Responses to this notice, will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this notice, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this notice are not considered adequate responses to any corresponding solicitation announcement. All interested offerors are requested to respond to this notice but are required to respond to the official solicitation announcement in order to be awarded the contract. This item is Part Number: SB9140.425, Intermodal Warehouse System (IWS) 425. The Sea Box Intermodal Warehouse System® (IWS®) is a steel, cargo- carrying platform that securely slides into ISO containers at the shipping point and provides a field warehousing system when unloaded at the destination.
