DLA is seeking sources who can manufacture a military folding cot with an aluminum frame. This item is national stock number (NSN) 7105-00-935-0422 and is built in accordance with military specification AA-C-571H. DLA Troop Support is researching the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced items under a long-term indefinite quantity type contract or multiple award contract. The contract base period will be for a base term of two years with three one (1) term option. Pricing for the base year(s) will be provided up front for the contract and option periods may be provided upfront or may be linked to a Producer Price Index and / or to an EPA clause which may be adjusted quarterly. Support of this item will be based on DLA Direct Deliveries, where the material would be shipped to either the New Cumberland, PA or Tracy, CA Depots, in addition to DLA stock distribution locations and/or Customer Direct Deliveries, where the material is delivered to DLA customers throughout the United States. No accurate quantity or dollar value information is available at this time, however, approximately 70, 200 cots could be procured each year based on demand.
