NOTE: This notice replaces the presolicitation notice for Folding Stool- NSN 7105-01-326-1816 - SPE8ED20Q0104, which posted on 10/21 to fbo.gov. This notice clarifies that the solicitation number for this procurement will be SPE8ED20Q0114, rather than SPE8ED20Q0104. DLA plans to issue a solicitation for 5,000 boxes of national stock # 7105-01-326-1816, Folding Stool. DLA will also request that offerors provide price breaks for quantities of 7,500 and 10,000 boxes if applicable. NSN 7105-01-326-1816 is a commercial item. DLA plans to issue a commercial request for quotations in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13.5. DLA plans to set aside this acquisition for small business. DFARS 252.225-7000 BUY AMERICAN-BALANCE OF PAYMENTS PROGRAM CERTIFICATE and 252.225-7001 BUY AMERICAN AND BALANCE OF PAYMENTS PROGRAM will be incorporated in this solicitation and contract DLA anticipates a solicitation release date of 11/7/2019 and expects that the solicitation will allow 1 week for offerors to submit quotations. Both this release date and solicitation timeframe are subject to change. A copy of this solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ Please note that this folding stool item description now specifies the following: 1) The cloth seat material must be at least 12 inches length x 12 inches width. 2) The stool weight capacity must be at least 250 lbs. 3) The feet of the stool must be covered by rubber crutch tips.
