DLA Troop Support intends to issue an unrestricted Request for Proposal (RFP) for the acquisition of one NSN, 4210-00-203-0217 (Fire Extinguisher), under solicitation number SPE8E9-23-R-0004. This requires Contractor First Article Testing (FAT) and Quality Conformance inspection IAW MIL-E-24269 PARA 4.2. The item is hazardous and is manufactured to the following: IAW BASIC SPEC NR MIL-E-24269B(1) REVISION NR 1 DTD 10/08/1990 PART PIECE NUMBER: MIL-E-24268 CL1,TY1 IAW REFERENCE QAP 16236 QAP-EQ003 REVISION NR C DTD 09/23/2021 PART PIECE NUMBER: IAW REFERENCE QAP 14153 SQAP-FAT3 REVISION NR DTD 06/15/2022 PART PIECE NUMBER: The solicitation period will be 30 days; the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the DLA Internet Bid Board Systems (DIBBS) AFTER April 5, 2023. This procurement will be for a Long-Term Contract and will consist of a two-year base and three possible one-year options, with each option year priced out. The required delivery schedule is 45 days ADO, or less, for the first 500 EA and then 500 EA every 30 days thereafter. Deliveries will be F.O.B. Destination to CONUS depots (stock) with Inspection / Acceptance @ Origin. All proposals must include a copy of a completed solicitation with Firm-Fixed Pricing for the one-year base and each of the four option periods. Follow directions as outlined in the solicitation when posted. NOTE: Copies of the solicitation package will not become available until the solicitation issue date; copies will be made available on Beta Sam at https://www.beta.SAM.gov.
