This is NOT a Request for Quote, Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support is conducting market research seeking to identify possible manufacturers or distributors that can supply the Fan, Vaneaxial, NSN 4140-01-447-2268. Interested vendors are requested to review the item nomenclature carefully to identify any potential manufacturing challenges and formulate any questions. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to gather information that will identify sources for the possibility of a solicitation for the referenced items under a large one-time contract, possibly with a quantity option. Interested vendors should contact the buyer so they may be included in a market survey and notified of upcoming solicitation. Any vendor offering an alternate item should submit a complete technical data package for the item on or before November 20, 2022 to Tamika Hines, DLA Troop Support – Construction & Equipment; tamika.t.hines@dla.mil. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purposes of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government will NOT pay for any information submitted by respondents in response to this Sources Sought notice. If a solicitation would result, it would be synopsized on the sam.gov website and it would be the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the website for any such notices.
