The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 62 spare parts in Federal Supply Classes (FSC) 2040 and used on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) skirting system. The solicitation will be for a total of five years, which includes a three-year base period and two one-year option periods, which will be extended in one-year increments at the discretion of the Government. Multiple awards are anticipated. Applicable NAICS is 333510 and Small Business Size Standard is 750. Solicitation will be unrestricted with other than full and open competition. DLA does not possess adequate data, lacks rights to data, and/or has no record of an alternate Design Control Activity approved sources; therefore, technical data is not available and cannot be developed to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit an o?er/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
