Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items under FAR 13.5 are Applicable. Solicitation SPE7MX23RX015 will be used to establish an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) approximately five years in length for one three-year base period with two one-year option periods. The Contracting Officer has determined this item will be solicited unrestricted with full and open competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 and implemented by FAR 6.101. This item has an AMC/AMSC of 1/G, which means they are suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time, the Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. All responsible sources may submit an offer/proposal, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and subcontracting plan.
