This item supports various weapon systems for which Eaton Aeroquip LLC (00624) and RC Fluid Engineering Inc (057Y9) are sources of supply. The scope of this acquisition includes all Department of Defense (DoD) managed items for Eaton Aeroquip LLC (00624) and RC Fluid Engineering Inc (057Y9) are the original equipment manufacturers (OEM). The proposed procurement does contain an option to extend the contract period one (1) time at the discretion of the Government. The total duration shall not exceed three (3) years (one two-year base period with one one-year option period). This proposed procurement includes one Federal Supply Class: 4730. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, surge and sustainment, small business participation, and other factors as described in the solicitation. Type of set-aside: Unrestricted.
