This is not a solicitation/request for proposal. The solicitation/request for proposal will be forth coming. When issued the Solicitation/Request for Proposal can be found on the DSCC Bid website at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of the 4 NSNs listed below. This will be solicited as an Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract containing a firm fixed-price for 1 base year and 1 option year not to exceed 2 years. The solicitation will be 100% Small Business Set Aside with Full and Open Competition after exclusion of sources. Solicitation will be issued using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. NSNs are part of the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program and will be solicited as FOB Origin and I/A Destination and Origin using both commercial and military packaging. Various Incremental quantities will be solicited. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
