The scope of this acquisition is for a firm-fixed price, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15; Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for the procurement of National Stock Number (NSN) 5945-00-666-0964. The Government is pursuing a long-term contract, for the duration of a three-year base and two separately priced one-year option periods for a potential total of 5 years. The total contract value is not to exceed $3,066,917.52. This requirement is for DLA stock support in the continental United States (CONUS). At the time of solicitation there is one (1) NSN being procured and managed by one Inventory Control Point (ICP) - DLA Land and Maritime. DLA Land and Maritime intends on issuing request for proposal SPE7MX21R0176 for the following material: NSN: 5945-00-666-0964 Item Description: RELAY,THERMAL INDAL TECHNOLOGIES INC 36334 P/N 8007-012-1 DRS NAVAL POWER SYSTEMS, INC 27192 P/N 6957ED14-1A Unit of Issue: EA Estimated Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ):362 Various Increments Solicited: FROM: 1 ea TO: 50 ea FROM: 51 ea TO: 201 ea FROM: 302 ea TO: 405 ea FROM: 406 ea TO: 600 ea Destination Information: Various DLA Stocking Locations using FOB Origin / I&A Destination Government Required Delivery on Any Quantity: 320 days (or less, at no additional cost to the Government) All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five (5) years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 5945. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
