Drawings are currently post... The proposed procurement is for one NSN: 5985-01-191-2230 (with the item name Cover, Protective). It will be RE-SOLICITED as a FAR 15 procurement for an item with drawings. Drawings are currently posted to c-Folders. Unit of issue is Each (EA). Full and Open Competition applies. All responsible sources may submit an offer / proposal, which shall be considered. The Government has rights to the technical data; therefore, specifications, plans or drawings are available and are currently posted on c-Folders. Anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Contract. This proposed procurement is for a three-year base period and two options. Items are for stock and will be shipped to DLA stocking locations within the established minimum and maximum quantity limits, on an as-needed basis. The total shall not exceed five (5) years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will open on or about October 14, 2022. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation. The Government expects to set Delivery Orders at a minimum quantity to buy of 70 units, to decrease risk for the vendor and improve price competition. Phased delivery is allowed.
