They are procured in accordance with approved CAGE and part numbers. The solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) and the FOB point is Origin. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 5 years. Items will be shipped to various CONUS locations. This requirement is Unrestricted and the small business standard is 1250 employees. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on or about 6/26/2020. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. A written offer is required to be returned as instructed in the solicitation by the date and time specified. DIBBS quotes are not acceptable; but a PDF copy of your proposal/quote may be uploaded to DIBBS. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DLA LAND AND MARITIME. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of factors as described in the solicitation.

DLA Land & Maritime is preparing to solicit the NSNs listed below for a Commercial Indefinite Quantity long-term contract. These items are switches, breakers, or relays for different aircraft, including the F-16, the Blackhawk Helicopter, and the A-10. SAFRAN POWER USA, LLC (81640) is the only approved source. DLA Land & Maritime does NOT have any technical data with which to procure these items. The purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources. The solicitation will be synopsized separately at a later date. Interested sources may submit the appropriate information outlined in DLAD Procurement Note L04, Offers for Part Numbered Items at this time. The agency has no data with which to evaluate alternate products. Please read about all of the information required before submitting an alternate offer.
