It is essential that the Government obtain this part only from Ronal Industries Incorporated because it is essential that the Government only obtain engineering source approved products that have been tested and verified to be used in specific higher level assemblies. Those higher assemblies include naval ships. To insure operability in accordance with military requirements of the stated higher assemblies, the spare/replacement parts incorporated in the higher level assembly must be the same form, fit, and function as the parts currently used in these higher assemblies. This is supported by the NSN Acquisition Method Code (AMC)/Acquisition Method Suffix Code (AMSC) code of 3B. Ronal Industries Incorporated is the only company known to possess the technical data and/or rights in that data required to manufacturer the item being solicited.

Nomenclature: Valve Destination Information: Various DLA Stocking Locations Delivery Schedule: Reference Solicitation The scope of this acquisition is for a firm-fixed price, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15; Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC)-Quantity for the procurement of National Stock Number (NSN) 4810-01-035-9314. The Government is pursuing an Indefinite Delivery Contract, for the duration of a three year base and two one-year option periods. This requirement is for DLA stock support within the continental United States (CONUS). The requirement will be managed by one Inventory Control Point (ICP - DLA Land and Maritime). The Inspection and Acceptance will be stated in the solicitation. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete drawings. Only approved source(s) and approved part numbers are acceptable. The AMC/AMSC code is 3B. The attached Purchase Item Description for the NSN includes the approved source(s) and part number(s). The solicitation is issued Unrestrictive under Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. The solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on or about February 21, 2020. The anticipated closing date of the solicitation is March 23, 2020. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The proposed requirement is solicited as Unrestrictive. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The Estimated Annual Demand Quantity is 352 each. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 15.101-1 “Best Value/Tradeoff Source Selection Process”. Evaluation factors will be stated in the solicitation and offers will be evaluated based upon these factors. The best value to the government will be the basis for award.
