The attached amendment SPE7MX20R00090001 is to re-open solicitation SPE7MX20R0009 on 1/7/2020 and close on 2/7/2020. This solicitation is being issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) that will provide stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots. The NSN - 4820011110491 - specified in Section B of this solicitation is a Small Business Set-Aside using Full and Open Competition After Exclusion of Sources. Currently Section B contains a Part Number Item - Valve, Plug - with 2 approved sources: Griswold Industries, Co. dba (86184) PN 31870K and Derbyshire Machine Tool Co. dba (71905) PN F3328634. The ADV/Estimated Annual Demand Value is $255,441.69. Additional NSN data: Unit of Issue is Each, FOB is Origin. Inspection and Acceptance is Destination. The Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation, in its solicitation of the described supplies. The solicitation will be available on DLA's Internet Bid Board Site (https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/) on or about 11/5/2019. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All responsible sources may submit and offer which shall be considered. The proposed procurement is a 5 year base with no options to extend the contract. Therefore, the total duration shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class/FSC 4820. The small business size standard is 750 employees. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
